Govt forgets promises with Jammu: POF | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 21: Public Opinion Forum (POF) today criticized the present collation government for what they called, forgetting the list of promises made with the people of Jammu, before assuming power. According to press release, the issue of neglect came up for discussion during a meeting of the Public Opinion Forum (POF) held here. Expressing their concern the members said that the people of Jammu have lots of expectations from the BJP-PDP coalition government in the state. They (members of POF) were of the opinion that BJP looks weak in its participation in decision making with regard to burning issues of public interest like employment generation, important road links and tapping of tourism potential. "Mufti Mohammad Sayeed after taking the oath as State Chief Minister said that he wanted to remove the alienation between the two regions of the state and shall work for equal development of all parts of the state. But his commitments to the people are belied," said general secretary of the Forum, Dr Gopal Parthasarthy Sharma. |
