Prof Aima to accompany President to visit China 5/21/2016 10:45:09 PM Jammu, May 21: The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Prof. Ashok Aima will be visiting China as part of an Academic Delegation accompanying President Pranab Mukherjee's state visit to China from 24-26 May. It is expected that CUJ will enter into a MoU with Lanzhou University of China for fostering academic exchange and partnership for furthering research. Both universities have identified that there is enough potential for partnership in creating a world class academic infrastructure in the field of science and technology and humanities. As part of its internationalization of education, the CUJ aspires to collaborate with leading Universities around the world. It is proud moment for the CUJ to be part of this endeavour as it is the one among the only two Central Universities shortlisted. The signing in ceremony will be held on 24 May 2016 at the Peking University, Beijing in the presence of Honourable President of India. Prof. Ashok Aima will be speaking at the Round table discussion between Indian and Chinese academia on themes related to innovation, globalization of education and the need for sharing of knowledge.
