Vijaypur hospital craves for X-ray facility 5/26/2016 10:55:14 PM Early Times Report vijaypur, May 26: The patients in Vijaypur hospital which mainly gets accident victims are suffering due to the non-availability of most needed diagnostic facility like X-ray. "Hundreds of patients from Ramgarh and Vijaypur area suffer daily as they are forced to go to Government Medical College in Jammu or pay hefty amounts at local private clinics," a local said. "Most of the patients who come to hospital are poor and need facilities free, but it is irony that whosoever comes here has to pay double in private clinics or forced to go to Jammu for these tests. The hospital administration is causing more problems instead of giving them some relief," a group of attendants said. There is a rush of patients who need X-Ray but the hospital has only a single X-Ray machine which has been lying defunct from the last seven days, they added. "The patients' especially critical patients are facing lots of problems due to the lack of X-ray facility. We feel embarrassed today when around ten persons who received injuries in road accident near Vijaypur were asked to X-ray done from outside," some attendants said. A senior doctor in the hospital said, "It is true that X-Ray machine has developed a technical problem.
