Jammu, May 26: Chairman of National Sikh Front (NSF), Sardar Varinderjeet Singh on Thursday has announced that the organization was going to organize a 'Shaheedi Yatra", on the eve of 300th martyrdom of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur on May 31 from the district Reasi and will culminate on June 9th at Gurudwara Shaheediasthan than Mahrolli New Delhi.
According to press release, In this yatra, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur's 10th Successor Baba Jatinder Singh Sodhi will be present. This yatra will enter Jammu city on 31st May 10.00 am. This yatra will be welcomed outside Amar Mahal by Sikh Sangat of Jammu in the presence of Central Minister Dr Jatinder Singh, President of Gurudwara Prabhandak Board, S. Tarlochan Singh Wazir, President Jammu Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee, S. Jagjit Singh Jaga, General Secretary, H.S. Raina and all the members of Elected Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee, many Sikh and Non Sikh organizations.
We appeal to all the people of Jammu to welcome the yatra at Jammu. After welcome at Amar Mahal, the Yatra will move to Rehari Chowk Gurudwara Kalgidhar to Indira Chowk - Gumat - Gurduwara Guru Nanak Dev Chand Nagar and hen move towards Bikram Chowk, Asia Chowk, Main Stop Gandhi Nagar, Satwari, Digiana, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Chowk Kunjwani, Samba to Hira Nagar - Rajbagh. In this Shaheedi Yatra, the arms, ammunition and clothes of Baba Banda Singh Bahadur will be displayed and a picture presentation on his life will also be displayed. |
