NMC hopes upcoming budget will boon for employees 5/27/2016 12:10:57 AM Early Times Report Jammu, May 26: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today expressed hope that the annual budget for the current Financial year to be presented by State Finance Minister in state legislature on 30th Maywill not only be growth oriented, but will prove to be a boon for employees of state government, pensioners especially daily rated workers. According to press release, addressing NMC Worker in a meeting at Gandhi Nagar, Shastri advocated the cause of sixty one thousand daily rated workers for regularization."There unsung workmen who form the backbone of public utilities with the utmost danger to their lives are clamouring for attention and no less than state Governor reiterated their demand for permanent absorption." Shastri also suggested that till the process of regularization gets completed, separate wage heads be created for early settlement of their claims and salaries as presently they are left without salaries for months together."
