Senior citizen forum Katra organizes farewell for outgoing officers 5/27/2016 12:11:03 AM Early Times Report Katra, May 26: On the eve of Transfer of Anil Kumar Chandel SDM Katra, and also P.S Chib Chief Executive Officer Katra Development Authority Katra and Ashima Sher Assistant Director Tourism Katra, a simple but impressive Fare-well function was organized by Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra in association with Pvt. School's Association Katra under the chairmanship of Sr. Vice-President Senior Welfare forum Katra Sukhdev Singh. The speaker's amongst invited audiences highlighted the services of all out going officers rendered by them during their tenure at Katra. Sukhdev Singh in his brief address praised the steps taken and conduct with the general public by all the above said officers. Especially the initiatives taken by the Head of the Sub Division Katra, Anil Chandel (SDM) Katra are remarkable, like stream lining the Auto-Rikshaw affairs, Removing of Garbage from Reasi Road and Plantation of trees there by balancing the Ecological atmosphere for the Society, Emphasis was laid for removing the Polythene material also repairing/blacktopping of Roads around Katra and many more. These points were also highlighted by Forum General Secretary R.S Manhas, Secretary Mohan Lal Sharma, Executive Members Mubarik Singh, Sunder Dass Sharma, besides Ajay Kotwal, Ghansara Singh from Pvt School Association Katra. In the last Anil Chandel SDM Katra in his valedictory speech thanked the audience and also expressed that he could solve much of the problems/affairs of the Public with the active cooperation of Senior Citizens Welfare Forum Katra and other Prominent Citizens of the Katra.
