Jammu, July 8: Youth Civil Society today distributed relief material among the poor people.
According to press release, Imtiaz Salaria chairperson, youth civil society and congress leader was instrumental in organising camp.
Speaking on the occasion he said that PDP-BJP government was giving hollow assurances and nothing is being done on ground.
Ration was promised but poor people of border town are still awaiting. Poor of the area were not provided any extra qouta, it could have been a gift on Eid-ul-Fitre but no one from ruling coalition bothered to talk about poor.
"We took a small initiative to help few poor families during festive season and we urge the government to pay attention towards poor populace of backward district", he said.
Ashraf Chauhan ACR Poonch, Molana Sayeed Habib Mohatmeen Jamia Zia ul uloom, Tariq Khan, Raja Sher Khan, Emar Choudhary, Imran Gani, Imtiaz Sheikh, Amir Sheikh and other prominent citizens were present on the occasion. |
