Forest deptt removes BO Chandanwari SaahilSuhail Looting Yatra funds 7/9/2016 12:12:09 AM Early Times Report Anantnag, July 8: A day after Early Times exposed how blue-eyed officials are looting Yatra funds on the name of providing firewood to pilgrims, Forest department today acted swiftly and removed one of the erring officials involved in the scam. Mohd Akbar Ganie, In-charge of Chandanwari base camp was attached with the divisional officer. A government order (29/2016) in this regard was issued today. Confirming the development, Divisional Forest Officer Lidder Division Bijbehara said that they have taken a serious note of the Early Times report. "I assure no one involved in this will be spared," he said. DFO said that he himself will conduct an internal inquiry to accesses records and those employees or officials have longest stay or indulging in any illegal activity will be removed.
