Dandiyal residents protest over 'non repairing' of school | | | Early times report Udhampur, June 8: Residents of Dandiyal locality near Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur today staged protest demonstration against administration for its failure to repair damaged Government school after a mudslide hit the school some two years ago. Led by local activist Vikas Sharma the protestors raised slogans against the administration and education authorities while demanding early repair of the damaged building of Govt Middle School Dandiyal at earliest. Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Sharma said huge mud sliding from the road side damaged the roof of Govt Middle School Dandiyal during heavy rains some two years ago and till date administration has failed to lifting the debris while the children studying in school are vulnerable to an unwarranted danger awaiting. Protestors warned the authorities if the education department fails to get debris cleared from roof top of school within in weak they will be forced to intensify their stir as they would not tolerate the lives of children made prone to danger. |
