Early Times Report Samba, July 8: The activist of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) Jammu and Kashmir held a protest demonstration in different districts of Jammu region against the anti labour and anti govt employee's policies which have been adopted by the central as well as state govt. The annoyed workers at protest demonstration venue raised slogan against the Govt which has miserably failed to resolve the burning issues of labour /employees. They alleged that labour reforms are going on without consultation with the labour unions and demanded that same be stopped immediately. They demanded that enhanced bonus payment be implemented from 2014, anomaly in the 7 th Pay Commission be removed immediately, stop investment of provident fund money in the share market, Anganwadi workers/Asha workers be declared as Government employees, issue notification regarding 10,000/- salary to contractual workers as agreed by the central Government without any further delay, strictly enforcement of labour laws in whole the country, staff ruthless FDI in Non priorities sector, national Flour level minimum wages should be fixed 15,000 per month, on complaint basis immediate inspections should be allowed on local level regarding violation of ESI and Provident fund, ESI and PF contribution limit should be linked with CPI for maximum coverage instead of fixing it after a gap of more than 5 years as it give loss to workers. |
