| Annual Chandi Mata Yatra to commence on July 9 | | | Early Times Report
Doda, July 8: The historic annual Chandi Mata Yatra from Hanail Gadyari to Sheya Dhar - Chandi Top is scheduled to be commenced from July 9-12 amid traditional religious fervor.
According members of managing committee of yatra, the holy yatra will commence on July 9 with a Jagran at the ancient temple of holy Chandi Mata (Mindhal Wali) Hanail Gadyari and will conclude on July 12 with Chari Darshan at the holy abode of revered deity at Chandi Top Sheya Dhar in Doda district.
The managing committee informed that the yatra is being organised by 'Chandi Mata Shradha Sanstha' under the aegis of CMY District Development Trust Chadi Top Sheya Dhar Doda. They said that adequate arrangements are being made for the convenience of the devotees at various places enroute the yatra and the district administration is urged to ensure due security arrangements for smooth and incident free yatra. |
