Early Times Report JAMMU, July 8: In a petition filed by a female teacher for her transfer to another school as her son was suffering from 75 pc disability, high court judge Janak Raj Kotwal has directed the Director School Education (DSE), Jammu, to accord consideration to her representation. Mumtaz Begum, who, on her regularisation as a teacher from ReT, had made a representation for her transfer from the school where she was engaged as ReT teacher to another school on the ground of health condition of her son, who was suffering from 75 disability of CNS as certified by the medical board vide the February 18, 2016 Disability Certificate. The chief education officer (CEO), Doda, had submitted her representation to the DSE, Jammu, vide his letter No CEO/D/MC/48541 on February 24, 2016. The petitioner's grievance is that the DSE had not taken any decision in the matter and that she was feeling hardships in taking care of her disabled son. Justice Kotwal, after hearing both the sides, disposed of the petition with a direction to the DSE to accord consideration to the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same without any delay, preferably within six weeks. |
