Jammu, July 24: Non-Gazetted Employees Union of the Jammu University's executive body expressed anger against the letter issued vide letter No.Estab./2016/6002-62 dated 22.07.2016. "First of all the authority invoked the "no work no pay rule" for the striking employees. With regard to this that restrictions are not imposed on the striker because Class-IV employees are working except four hours which we have announced as token strike", the president of Union said. They further say that there is no any evidence to create incongenial atmosphere in the university complex. Employees are fully cooperated with staff of university during the admission process. Complex is neat and clear, sweepers are already performed their duties before the commencing of the token strike period. State President JKPDTU strongly condemned the autocratic approach of the Vice Chancellor and opposed unwarranted and uncalled for orders of non work no pay to the peacefully agitating employees. Vijay announced that meeting of the NGEU shall be held on Monday to discuss further modalities for intensification of the agitation from Tuesday itself. |
