Separatists change strategy, call for chalos | Pak, Hafiz Sayeed dream of 'Kashmir baneyga Pakistan' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 24: Encouraged by the provocative statements issued by Pakistan, separatists in Kashmir after calling for continuous shutdown calls have changed their strategy and have called for chalos in next week. Sources told Early Times that separatists have changed their strategy to ensure that the ongoing unrest in Kashmir lingers on. "As shutdown calls are slowly fizzling out and people have started coming out to resume their daily chores, separatists have changed their tactics. They know that government would have to make stringent security arrangements to prevent the chalo calls that is why they have given three chalo calls for next week." Fearing that people would defy shutdown call on Monday they separatists have called for Anantnag chalo on Monday, Kulgam chalo on Wednesday and Jamia Masjid chalo on Friday. "Chalo calls have prompted the security agencies to look for more reinforcements and to impose strict curfew so that people don't come out of their homes," said a source. He said, "Activities of the separatists are being monitored. Their mobile phones have been disconnected and in coming week it would be ensured that separatists are unable to issue anymore statements and protest calendars." Sources said, "Pakistani handlers of separatists have asked them to ensure that shutdown continues and normalcy doesn't return to Kashmir." They said, "It has been made clear to separatists that it's a golden chance to blackmail India and it should not go waste." A politician while talking to Early Times said, "Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned to pamper separatists in Kashmir and are making every possible effort to internationalize the Kashmir issue. People like Hafiz Sayeed are mobilizing militants in Pakistan and attempts are being made to push in the militants to add fuel to the fire." He said, "Pakistan is playing with fire and is provoking India. It's high time for India to react and not allow Pakistan to take the advantage of the situation. Kashmir has been pushed to edge. Separatists, militants and Pakistan are dreaming about Kashmir baneyga Pakistan. This myth has to be shattered by crushing anti-national elements in Kashmir and teaching Pakistan a lesson." |
