Poonch health services defunct 7/24/2016 11:37:21 PM Rajesh Tandon Early Times Report Poonch, July 24: Under the garb of neat and clean system of government the system of health department is defunct in Poonch district. According to the sources the Primary Health Center(PHC) Harni often remains closed. Many locals in this regard while speaking to Early Times said, the said PHC remains closed during day time too, and no action has taken by Chief Medical Officer Poonch while locals approaches him. They further said, there are more than ten staff members alongwith two doctors, three nurses and other in documents, but all remains absent from their duty everyday. Wali Mohd, Ghulam Abaas and Abdul Rashid the locals of the said village alleged CMO Poonch that he is involved in this blunder, as he is not taking any action while locals complaint. They said the health department is totally failure in Poonch for about last three months. In this way while the reporter of Early Times tried to contact chief medical officer Poonch via telephone, he refused his call. According to the report the people of many rural areas of Poonch are suffering a lot and officials are not taking any action.
