CEO Poonch violating teachers transfer policy: AJKLTF | Vigilance probe sought | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Aug 7: Alleging irregularities and violations of teachers transfer policy in the recent transfer orders of teachers in Poonch district, All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation has sought a vigilance probe into all such transfers and demanded attachment of CEO Poonch to Directorate. Darshan Kumar, President AHKLTF Poonch in a press conference here today said that the Chief Education Officer Poonch has violated the teachers transfer norms and side lined the proposals submitted by cluster heads who had worked hard by spending their over 20 days. He alleged that the CEO had modified the proposals submitted by the cluster heads without knowing the ground realities and transferred blue eyed at choice postings even within zones avoiding the genuine cases that have been posted at odd areas for the past over 15 and 20 years. He asked the CEO that why he had not issued list of transferees and issued individual orders that too of one week past dated (Orders issued on 6th of August where as the orders were signed on 29th of July). Similarly the list was not issued in Mendhar Tehsil and individual orders were served. He said that the CEO has not considered the Zones criteria mentioned in the transfer policy and again posted the teachers in odd areas where they have served. He also condemned the CEO for transferring the teachers whose stays were not mature and they have not applied for transfer as directed by the CEO, but were transferred and sent to for off places. He expressed his disappointment that some female teachers were transferred at odd areas or for off places and adjusted blue eyed at choice postings, even some male and young teachers were transferred within zero to one KMs and not . He also raised question that the teachers who have served in odd or for off place for over 15 years why not given choice postings as mentioned in the transfer policy. He demanded independent Vigilance probe into the transfer of teachers and demanded actions against CEO for violating Transfer policy. He asked the Education Minister to intervene into the matter and cancel the list. The Federation also waned of serious consequences if their demands were not fulfilled. Gurvinder Singh, Organising secretary, Anoop Sharma, Ashish Gupta, Karn Suri, Mohinder Bali were also present in the press conference. |
