Anti-national slogans found written on walls in Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Report BHADERWAH, Aug 7: Anti-national slogans were today found written on some walls in the town here, exposing the so-called 'tight' police bandobast. The slogans were written on the walls at nearly half a dozen places in the town either last night or early this morning amid the tight security bandobast had been put in place due to the spillover of Kashmir unrest to Bhaderwah areas. One fails to understand how the anti-India forces managed to write slogans on the walls amid the heavy deployment of cops in the town. Had the cops been on high alert, the slogan writers could have been apprehended on the spot, police sources said. When contacted, Bhaderwah police station SHO Anurup Sharma said they were investigating the matter and no FIR had yet been registered in this connection. He said the people of Bhaderwah were wise enough to understand the motive behind such seditious wall writings and won't allow the divisive forces to succeed in their nefarious designs. No one would be allowed to disrupt peace here, he added. |
