| Adbi Kunj holds literary meet to mark I-Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: To commemorate the 70th Independence Day Adbi Kunj J&K Jammu organized a patriotic literary meet cum function at its literary centre in the premises of Zee Pre kidzee School Talab Tillo, Jammu. Eminent educationalist and social activist Dr Parneesh Mahajan was the Chief Guest of the meet while prominent Kashmiri, Hindi and Urdu poetess Smt Santosh Nadan presided over this meeting. The meet was attended in large number by various literary luminaries and other devotees from all walks of life. In his address Sham Talib founder of the organization highlighted that every Indian takes pride shows gratitude and salutes the contribution and sacrifice of those known and unknown martyrs' who strived to get independence for the country. The speakers thanked and saluted the armed soldiers whose loyalty, sacrifice and commitment to the country to defend. In the creative writing part of the meet the presentations on the day Watan-Ke-Shahidon-Ko-Mera-Salam (Urdu) by Sham Talib, Hamari-Aan-Taranga-Hamari-Shan-Taranga (Hindi) by Aarash Om Rajpuri, Mera-Rang-De-Basanti-Chola (Punjabi) by M S Kamra, Swatantrata-Diwas-Te-Us (Dogri) by Bishan Dass Khak and etc Taiyab Bharti (Banaras) Sagar Sailkoti, Manohar Vij (Ludhiana) Dr Matharo (Jalandhar) and Ashok Muntiq (Udhampur) participated telephonically. In the end Chairman Aarash Rajpuri presented vote of thanks. |
