| Chairman JKISWA hails grappler Sakshi Malik's Olympic performance | | | Jammu, Aug 18: Prem Choudhary veteran Wrestler and Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Indian Style Wrestling Association (JKISWA) hailed the victory of bronze medal by Women Wrestler Sakshi Malik in ongoing Rio Olympics.
In a press statement issued today, Choudhary Prem who along with the team of senior wrestlers of Akhara Diwan Mandir Jammu in a meeting congratulated the entire team behind the success of Sakshi Malik. "Indeed it will broaden the scope of female wrestling in country as a whole, he said. He however lambasted the state sports agencies for their total negligence towards the promotion of sports scenario in the state particularly in providing basic infrastructure for the game of Wrestling . "There is no dearth of wrestling talent in the state, he said, adding, "state sports authorities are least bothered about development of sports infrastructure in the state." Choudhry Prem also condemned the induction of business tycoons, blue eyed and ultimately non sports persons in state sports council and termed it as a mockery in the name of sports.
