Class IV making fortunes at Revenue office, Jr Assistt without work 8/22/2016 10:51:04 PM MS Nazki Early Times Report Poonch, Aug 22: It may sound wizard but the fact remains that of 13 Class IV employees posted at Revenue Office Mendhar, six fortunate are working as junior Assistants whilst an appointed Junior Assistant is without any work resons best known to authorities, sources said here today. Highlighting the disorder in Revenue department, the official sources said, "Revenue office Mendhar has six posts of Junior Assistants lying vacant and in a makeshift (temporary) arrangement it has allowed six of Class IV employees including two women to work as junior Assistants who are infact making their fortunes. Sources alleged that these influential Class IV employees reportedly demanding and accepting bribe from the gullible people who come from far flung areas to get their works done which includes preparing a state subject certificate or category certificate and etc. "All this practice is continuously going on under the very nose of ACR Poonch, Tehsildar and SDM Mendhar," they alleged. Sources further maintained that a lady who is appointed as Junior Assistant in the same office has been kept at bay for reasons best known to the men at helms. "She has not been assigned any work which is related to public dealing and as a Jr assistant while others working under temporary basis are doing authoritative jobs," sources maintained. Responding to this disorder in Revenue Department, Chairman Mendhar Youth Club Advocate Nadeem Khan has urged District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch M H Malik to take cognizance of matter and set the things in right perspective.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
