DyCM, Sat Sharma leave official functions midway after high command summons them | Rumours create flutter in BJP camp | | Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 22: Names of Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and BJP state president, Sat Sharma were boldly written on the foundation stone of Residential Flats at Sarwal, which was laid by Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti this afternoon but both of them were conspicuously absent from the function. Significantly both the leaders were present when Chief Minister has inaugurated State's biggest Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Bhagwati Nagar here. After attending first function, BJP leaders skipped remaining two functions and went to Delhi on an unscheduled visit. Officially BJP leaders are saying that Delhi meeting was already fixed a week back so there is nothing significant in their decision to skip the functions. BJP leaders on record saying that party's national president Amit Shah had called meeting of important leaders of the party from all over the country to discuss organisation matter. But one thing is important if meeting was already fixed a week ago, then why names of both Deputy Chief Minister and Sat Sharma, who is local MLA from Jammu West were written on the plaque of the foundation stone. Credible sources in the corridors of power revealed that Deputy Chief Minister, who was in Delhi a couple of days back had to attend all the three functions with Chief Minister at Jammu on Monday as per schedule but in midway he had to leave for Delhi that too in the afternoon. Credible sources said that BJP Central leadership is not getting good response about function of the party in the State especially style of function of the party ministers. Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley during his visit to Jammu on Sunday, had hinted that party leadership was not satisfied with the way BJP ministers are working in Jammu and Kashmir, where party is first time enjoying taste of power. |
