Shady SI appeasing senior cops for his postings 8/23/2016 12:02:40 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 22: A shady Sub-Inspector who was transferred for allowing gambling in his jurisdiction in trying to appease senior police officers to get him posted as in-charge police post. If sources are to be believed, the SI who was earlier posted as in-charge of a police post in Jammu city was removed after senior police officers came to know that the said SI is allowing gambling in his area in lieu of commission. Sources said that after transfer he went on course and after completion of course he was shifted to a police station. Sources further claimed that the Sub-Inspector who is well aware of the fact that reshuffle of some police post in-charge and Station House officers is on cards he tried his best to get him posted as in-charge police post. "To fulfill his purpose, the SI is running with appeasing policy and trying to appease senior officers so that he can be posted as in-charge of a police post", claimed a senior police officer pleading anonymity.
