Two drug peddlers held with intoxicants | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 22: Police today claimed have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 4300 intoxicants capsules from their possession during anaka checking under jurisdiction of Trikuta Nagar police. Police sources said, "Acting on specific information, a party led by Inspector Baharat Sharma, SHO Trikuta Nagar raised a naka near Railway station and intercepted two persons on their suspicious movements. "The duo identified as Vipan Balgotra son of Jai Pal Balgotra of Kanji House Raghunath Bazaar and Ajay Verma son of Bansi Lal of Mast Garh Jammu was arrested alongwith 4300 intoxicants capsule with trade name Spasms proxivon and 11 intoxicant injections trade name Phenergan which were recovered from their possession, said police. Police added that the duo was arrested on the spot while drug consignment was seized. Meanwhile a case in this connection stands registered and further investigations in this regard are on to ascertain identities of other associates of the arrested duo. |
