BJP committed for safety of Kashmiri employees: Koul | | | Early Times Report jammu, Sept 1: Reiterating party's firm commitment towards ensuring safety and security of the Kashmiri Hindu employees posted in valley, the BJP State General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul today said BJP has always been concerned towards the safety and security of every citizen and as far the Kashmiri Hindu employees posted in valley in concerned. "The party is in touch with these employees and time to time BJP Kashmir Committee visits Kashmir as well as migrant employees in Jammu, he said while talking to a deputation over of 130 employees of Education, Power, R&B and Health Departments posted in Kupwara district and presently putting up in Jammu due to unrest in valley. Led by Sunil Pandita and Ankur Pandita, these employees raised the yesterday afternoon's incident of Nutnussa, the area of Handwara tehsil of Kupwara, where a mob of hundreds of people who unleashed reign of terror and destruction. They further apprised that even some vehicles parked in premises were also badly damaged by the mob. The deputationists also told after this incident in July, their demand for deployment of security and an FIR in this regard both went in vain. The members of the deputation urged upon Ashok Kaul that they should be sent to Nutnussa under security so that they can themselves check the losses as their clothes, utensils, documents and some vehicles are still there. After giving a patient hearing to the deputation, Senior BJP leader Koul said that the party is always concerned towards the safety and security of every citizen including Kashmiri Hindu employees posted in valley and is watching every development. |
