UDHAMPUR, Sept 4: A man was alleged to have committed suicide by consuming some poison at his residence at Latti near here last night.
A police spokesman said 33-year-old Yash Pal, son of Mulkh Raj of Chapper consumed poison at his residence late last night. The family members rushed him to PHC, Latti, where doctors washed his stomach but he died after some time. After post-mortem, the body was handed over the family members for last rights. Latti police have, however, initiated inquest proceedings in the case under section 174 of CrPC. Meanwhile, Sat Pal Sharma (35), son of Amar Nath of Syal Salan, who was shifted by his family members in an unconscious condition to the district hospital here, later died. In this case too, police have initiated proceedings under section 174 of CrPC. |
