Jammu, Sept 4: Jammu Sunrisers ,Jammu Kings and Jammu Tigers registered emphatic win in the ongoing J&K Peace T20 Championship for Jammu School boys at Parade Ground and Sehwag Academy Heritage School which is being organized by Vishal Cricket Club Jammu and District Sports Council Jammu in collaboration with Sehwag Academy under the supervision of Rajesh Gill Former Ranji Player. The Slogan of the event is " Lets' Play for Peace". The Organizing Committee members includes Vinay Gupta, Vijay Saberwal, Vivek Sharma, Vivek Shekher, Rajesh Dhar, RP Singh, Madan Mohan, Deepak Baba, Vivek Singh, Ravi Sharma, Jagtar Singh, Gurupartap Singh and Suresh Singh.
In Group-A Matches at Parade Ground, Jammu Kings defeated Jammu Tigers by 3 wickets .
Batting first, Jammu Tigers scored 98 runs in 20 overs for 8 wickets, with Ayush Andotra (30 ) and Abay Tondon (22) being the main scorers. Abay and Kanav took 2 wickets each while Uttkarsh and Hanjla took one wicket each. Jammu Kings , in reply achieved the target in the second last ball of the gane for the lost of 7 wickets. Surya (24), Usmaan (23) and Huzaifa (14 ) were the main scorer , from bowling side Abay Tondon took 2 wickets , Abay Sharma ,Tushar and Umar took 1 wicket each . Surya was adjudged man of the match. In Another match at Parade Ground, Jammu Tigers defeated Jammu Superstars in last ball of the match by 4 wickets.
Batting first ,Jammu Superstars scored 100 runs for allwickets in 20 overs with Swastic Sharma (34) and Rohan Gill (12) were the main scorers From Bowling side Abay Tondon took 6 wickets and Moulik Jain took 3 wickets.
In reply Jammu Tigers achieved the target in last ball of the game with Ayush (27),Aditya(25) and Abay Tondon(15). From bowling side Praful took 3 wickets and Smarpit took 2 wickets. Abay Tondon was declared as man of the match.
In Group-B matches at Sehwag Cricket Academy Heritage School, Jammu Sunrisers defeated Jammu Superstars by 66 runs .
Batting first, Jammu Sunrisers scored 163 runs for loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs, with Shehzad (77 ),Daksh (52) and Kartik(13 ) being the main scorers. Praful and Gurdaat took 1 wicket each, Jammu Superstars, in reply could not achieved the target and made 97 runs in 20 overs for the lost of 8 wickets with Ragav Thakur (31) ,Swastik Sharma (15) , Ritvik (13 ) were the main scorers . Anirudh, Yuvraj Singh and Krishna took 2 wickets each . Shahzad was adjudged the man of the match.
In another match played at Sehwag Academy, Jammu Sunrisers defeated Jammu Warriors by wickets.
Batting first jammu Warriors scored 89 runs in 20 overs for 9 wickets with Achitinya (31),Yuvraj (17) and Areen (7). From bowling Side Kartik took 5 wickets,Karmanya took 2 wickets while Daksh took 1 wicket. In reply Jamu Sunrisers achieved the target in 19.2 overs with Daksh (42),Dhruv(13) were the main scorers. From bowling side Adhishwer took 3 wickets, Dhruv took 2 wickets and Laith August took 1 wicket.
Kartik Sharma was declared man of the match.
