Adjustment of surplus deployed teaching staff hailed | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 4: School Education employees Co-ordination Committee SEECC held a meeting to discuss the demands and education scenario in the State. In the meeting speakers appreciated the bold step of DSE Jammu for issuing the adjustment orders of 113 surplus masters deployed in Jammu district for years at the Cost of student studies. Jammu and Srinagar being the capital all teaching staff having political and bureaucratic approach got adjusted/ Deployed in different schools of other districts in Jammu & Srinagar to get 20% CCA and to lead comfortable life at the cost of poor students in rural areas. Speakers demanded that all deployed and surplus lectures must be adjusted forth with as some of the teaching staff remained deployed for many years. This was a well planned strategy to befool the common teachers. Speakers demanded that all BLO's have become Patwaries and they remain busy in BLO work rather than teaching in schools all over the state. Participants criticized the mass promotion policy up to 9th class which has ruined the future of the children as they know no teacher can declare them failed. If the result of the teacher up to 9th class is 100 % why it falls to zero percent in Board classes that too after mass copying in different schools. Speakers demanded strict implementation of transfer policy, departmental examination for promotion of all cadres of school education department to bring efficiency, rationalization of teaching staff, regularization of all incharge cadres, RETs, KGBV Teachers, SBM and Computer Operators. Dileep Kumar Dhar President ZEO's association demanded regularization of all incharge officers and lecturers of school education department for which SEECC has left no door unknocked since 2014.He said integrity certificates of all those who are to be promoted as principals have already been submitted to the department for promotion. Those who attended the meeting were Yog Raj Singh, Bansi Lal, Pushp Raj, Mohd Sadiq, Parveen Singh, Ashoni Sharma, Romesh Singh, Kuldeep Singh (PEM), Tara Mani, Des Raj, Manjeet Singh, Babu Ram, Krishan Lal, Harish Krishan, S Puran singh, Surjeet Singh Jasrotia and others. |
