Man allegedly held for rape charges 9/26/2016 10:58:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 26: Channi Himmat Police today arrested a man for allegedly raping a woman working in a call centre of a telecom company. Quoting complainant (name withheld) Police sources said that one girl of Jalandher, Punjab presently staying at Qasim Nagar, Narwal Bala lodged a complaint with Police Station Chhanni Himmat today afternoon alleging therein that during last night a woman of Narwal Bala brought her at her rented room at Chhanni Rama where three persons namely Sanjay of Akhnoor, Jatinder and Bobby committed rape upon her." Acting on the complaint from victim, police registered a case under FIR No. 94/16 under section 376/120-B of RPC and started investigation in the matter. Police sources said that taking cognizance in this connection the police immediately conducted raids and arrested one of the accused identified as Jatinder while manhunt to nab other accused is on who are evading their arrest till last report came in.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
