Influential cop manages his stay in choicest PS 9/26/2016 11:26:32 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 26: An influential constable who remained 'karyakhas' of all the Station House Officers (SHOs) of a particular police station of Jammu district for last couple of years is so influential that senior police officers always remained ignorant about his transfer. Despite the fact that the constable used to collect illegitimate money for all the SHOs who remained posted in the police station including the present SHO, police officers failed to even change his police station rather than district. If sources are to be believed, the said 'karyakhas' used play key role in patching up minor issues at his own level and collecting money from the parties which he used to pay the SHO. "Some amount from the money collected from patching up the matters used to remain with him", said a police source, adding that he had the list of persons involved in some kind of illegal business in his jurisdiction from which he use to collect money for his master (SHO). Earlier, the constable was transferred by the then SHO who has now been promoted get his order cancelled.
