Notorious criminal held 10/18/2016 10:17:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, October 17 Police today claimed to have arrested notorious criminal who was on way to eliminate his rivals at RS Pura. Police spokesman said that on specific information, developed by SHO R S Pura, today Police party of RS Pura while on patrolling duty at Sunderpur Morh, RS Pura arrested one notorious criminal Rahul Kumar son of Darshan Lal of Chak Mohd Yar. Spokesman further said that on his personal, police recovered one sharp-edged weapon (Khokhri) from his possession. On this, a case under FIR No. 157/2016 under section 4/25 of Arms Act has been registered at RS Pura police station and further investigation of the case is going on. "During the preliminary enquiry from accused it has come to surface that he was on his way to commit a major crime. Moreover the said accused is also involved in other cases i.e. FIR No 38/2014 under section 341/323 of RPC 4/25 Arms Act, FIR No. 105/2015 under section 458/354 / 323/509 /336 RPC, FIR No. 57/2015 under section 341/323/325 RPC and FIR No. 27/2016 under section 307/341/323/147/149 of RPC 4/25 of Arms Act.
