CBDT extends date for filling income tax returns & ors 10/18/2016 10:37:35 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 18:Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended due date for date for filling income tax return and reports of audit. According to press release, it stated in order to mitigate the difficulties being faced by the tax payers of the J&K in filling income tax returns and reports of audit for assessment year 2016-2017 by the due date as prescribed under section 139(1) of income tax act, 1961 the CBDT here by extend the due date for filling income tax return and reports of audit under the provision of income tax act pertaining to A.Y 2016-17 for all categories of the tax payers in the state of J&K to 31 Dec. 2016.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
