Nazki interacts with shelling affected families

Mendhar, Nov 2: Expressing concern over loss of lives and properties in firing from across the border, Mendhar Mankote Balakote M S Nazki Press Council of Mendhar Poonch today assured the affected people that he would take up their cases with the concerned authorities. Nazki conducted extensive tour of the border areas of Balakote Mendhar and Mankote which witnessed heavy shelling and firing from across the border.
Affected people while narrating their tales of woes, expressed concerns of increased intensity of the border shelling and requested the President Press Council of Mendhar Poonch to provide immediate relief to them. The residents demanded that they should be provided alternative shelter at the safer places. The affected families also demanded that Government should immediately conduct survey of the shelling affected areas and provide ex-gratia to the people. Nazki assured the public that he would work closely with the local administration to do the needful.
