Ravinder Sharma expresses grief over bus tragedy | | | Early Times Report
Sunderbani, Nov 2: Ravinder Sharma (Ex-MLC) Chief Spokesperson JKPCC, has expressed great shock over the bus tragedy in Mithyani area of Rajouri District today causing loss of 3 precious lives and serious injuries to 41 passengers. Expressing grief and shock over the causalities in the accident and conveyed sympathies with the bereaved families and other injured, Sharma along with Dwarka Nath, Vaishno Dass, GL Dogra and Subash Chander visited Sunderbani Hospital to enquire about the injured and asked the administration and health authorities to take all necessary steps for the relief and best possible treatment to the injured. He lashed out at authorities for the failure to check the overloading which appears to be the main cause of such large number of causalities in the repeated bus tragedies. This has exposed the hollow claims of the authorities and it speaks Sheer non-performance, criminal negligence and corruption in the system, which calls for an authoritative enquiry and stern action against those responsible to send a clear message in order to check and control such tragic incidents. Later, Ravinder Sharma toured the border areas of Nowshera Sector and took stock of the problems of people. After touring the area Sharma said that the Govt. and the administration have failed to shift the population near border and LOC to the safer areas as those under direct range of Pak shelling which has resulted the large scale casualty of civil population. The Government should has evacuated civil population from the border area from the very first day of firing and it should not has waited till the loss of precious lives. |
