| BJP leader forcibly attempt to encroach land of poor families, people protest | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 2: Bharatiya Janata Party BJP makes chest thumping claims of development with ' Sab ka Saath- sab ka Vikas" but its leaders at ground level try to pressurize common men and compel them to surrender before their strong hands.
It appeared that the leaders want " Sab ka Saath for their own Vikas ( development). One such case came into light when large number of people being harassed by BJP State Executive secretary Gopal Mahajan assembled at National Highway and expressed resentment by blocking NH1A.
Rano Devi w/o Sat Paul R/o Kalibari led the protest and blamed on BJP leader to forcibly encroach their land Khasra No. 56.
While addressing to protesters at national highway, Rano Devi informed that 2 kanal residential land belonging to her family according to all Revenue record, is being forcibly encroached by the BJP leader.
Rano said," The matter has been highlighted before concerned Revenue officers and others but nothing has been done as it appears that officials are directed by BJP leaders." She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about development of all but his social functioning would develop arrogance among his leaders.
The protesters demanded strict action against BJP leaders who forcibly encroach entire Kathua town due to their influence in the state and center government. They threatened to file case against BJP leaders and tainted revenue officials who temper the documents.
SHO Kathua rushed on the spot and pacified the protesters by ensured that the matter would be solved on priority basis and no encroachment attempted would be allowed in future. |
