| Officials' absence in ARTO Poonch causing hardship to poor | | |  Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, Nov 2: Under the good governance of People Democratic Party and Bhartya Janta Party, people are deprived of basic facilities. The closed Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) office Poonch shows the performance of the so called good governance.
According to the sources ARTO Poonch Jahangir Khan has been transferred as ARTO Jammu while ARTO Jammu Pawan Sharma has mutually transferred as ARTO Ponnch under transfer order of commissioner/secretary to government department of transport Jammu and Kashmir under order number 73,TR 016 dated 21st of October 2016, which has been mangled by the influential officers.
Report further said, Jahangir Khan has left his office from Poonch and Sharma has not joined right now resulting which people are facing troubles.
A local of Jammu Sunil Sharma said, he visited Poonch for the renewal of his licence where office was found locked. He expressed his anguish over the situation and said there was clerical staff without officer.
Another Mohammad Jahangir of Kulgam in this regard informed Early Times that when he come to ARTO office Poonch for official work, found office close and get in troubles.
Both said they are poor and are in driving profession which has lost their lot of time as well as money too. They appealed to chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and Transport Minister to intervene in the matter and provide ARTO for border district Poonch.
While connecting to newly purposed ARTO Pawan Sharma, he didn't showed his interest towards Poonch. |
