ReT teachers call on CEO, highlight issues | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Nov 2: A deputation of Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers forum under the leadership of its State president Farooq Ahmed Tantary met with Chief Education Officer Kishtwar and expressed their concern over non redressal of their demands. The forum earlier during a meeting at Kishtwar condemned burning of schools in Kashmir valley by some unknown miscreants. The forum termed the government order in which teachers have been asked to gaurd the schools as bluff and added that the job of the teacher is to teach and not to guard the scol building. During his meeting with CEO Kishtwar, the demands which were raised by the forum included release of pending arrears of newly regularized ReT Teacher, release of pending salary of surplus ReTs, pending arrear of EVs to ReTs of 2013 (5 months), regularization of ReTs, KGBV, ReTs and EVs to ReTs, transfer policy for regularized ReTs teachers, revocation of examination exumption duty order for regularized ReT teachers as done by DSE Kashmir, clearance of permission files of various degrees lying in CEO Office Kishtwar and DSEJ. The CEO Kishtwar gave patient hearing to the visiting deputation and assured them for early redressal of all demands. Those who accompanied the deputation included Assadulah Wani State Publicity Secretary, Mohammad Hafeez District President Kishtwar, Musharaf Shabir Distt. General Secretary, Mohammad Ramzan District Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan, Zonal President Inderwal, Mushtaq Wani, khursheed Ahmed, Sahad Ahmed and several others. |
