Jammu, Nov 19 : In order to carry out the branch cutting of heavy eucalyptus trees, the shutdown of Pathankot-Kathua line is being observed. During the shutdown, the power supply to Kathua-III, DC Office, CTM-I, CTM-II, Barmora, Partap Nagar District Police Line and their adjoining areas shall remain affected on November 20 from 8 am to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out rectification of hotspots and to replace worn out jumpers and branch cutting at various locations, the shutdown of 132 KV S/C Barn-Jourian Transmission Line and 132 KV D/C Barn-Canal Transmission line is being observed. During the shutdown, the power supply to Grid Station Jourian, Grid Station Canal and Grid Station Pounichak shall remain affected on November 20 from 9 am to 2 pm. |
