5 houses damaged in mysterious fire, 5 injured 11/19/2016 10:40:30 PM MS Nazki Early Times Report Mendhar, Nov 19: In late night mysterious fire that broke out in the house of a JKAP constable engulfed 4 other houses at Gulta in Harni area of Mendhar sources said here today. Eye witnesses said on the intervening night of November 18 and 19, mysterious fire broke out in the house of Mohd Nasir constable JKAP presently posted at PHQ Jammu who had come to his home to perform last rites of his grand father who had passed away some days ago. Since there was presence of some relatives also in the house where a fire broke out in the late night which spread over and within no tune engulfed the near by houses damaging them partially. The fire brigade reached timely on the spot and doused the fire, they added. Since there were presence of money people in the house of constable, they come out of the house hurriedly resulting in injuries to five people All the injured were shifted to Sub Divisional Hospital Mendhar where condition of two injured is said to be critical. The injured have been identified as Naseer Ahmed and Zahoor AHmed both employees in Health Deptt. besides Zaheer Ahmed, Safeer Ahmed and Abdul Majid were said to be out of danger in hospital. Tehsildar Mendhar Shahzad Khan today visited the hospital and inquired about the health of injured. He said police have started the investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire and added that a case has been prepared to provide relief to victims of fire which is under consideration of District Development Commissioner MH Malik for his approval, he added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
