Labour Dept asks beneficiaries to deposit forms by 30 Nov 11/19/2016 10:59:08 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Nov 19: In order to make the illiterate labourers aware of their rights, the officers of Labour Department conducted awareness camp cum educational tour of different construction sites between Nashri and Ramban, here today. The Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Ramban Ganshyam Basotra while interacting the media informed that the last date for depositing of scholarship forms for lower as well as higher education is 30 November 2016 by the beneficiaries under the Building and Other Construction Works Welfare Board (BOCWWB). The forms be deposited with the registering office of respective district. ALC further informed that his office is receiving such forms for the year 2016-17 with w.e.f 1 November 2016 as per the instruction of the CEO of the board under no circumstances the forms will be received after November 30, 2016. He said till date 2000 case files have being received in the office 11260 workers have been registered in the district till date adding that an amount of 59.81 lacs has been distributed among 793 beneficiaries under education assistance.
