| Kishtwar youth demands resignation of MoS Transport | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 4: A renowned social activist and Chairman Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar Joginder Bhandari in his statement has demanded immediate starting of Government Degree College for Paddar.
Bhandari has said that the people of Paddar have been crying for the last two decades to grant Degree College for Paddar but it is a matter of great concern that their demands were not fulfilled by the government. He said that hundred of boys and girls after passing their HSS part-II from Government Higher Secondary School Atholi Paddar have to give up their further studies due to the non availbality of degree college. Bhandari informed that the people of this far flung area are totally dependent upon labouring work and in such circumstances they can not effort to continue the studies of their children to higher classes . He also said that during elections , the leaders visit their villages in Paddar area and makes promises that they will start degree college in Paddar and after getting votes their demand of college remain unfilled. Bhandari also said that Sunil Sharma MoS Transport who is also MLA Kishtwar had made commitment with the people of Paddar during the year 2014 that the Govt Degree college will start within a period of 10 days in Paddar for which he will identify the private accommodation and the students will not now had to seek admissions in Kishtwar college and on his assurance the students of Paddar didn't sought their admission in Kishtwar college but it is a matter of great concern that no Govt Degree college for Paddar was granted as a result of which the carrier of hundred of students got spoiled since 2 years stands elapsed. |
