DC Kishtwar conducts extensive tour of Nagseni 12/4/2016 10:27:39 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Dec. 4: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Ghulam Nabi Balwan, today conducted extensive tour of Tehsil Nagseni along with several District and tehsil level officers and took stock of various ongoing projects in this hilly and one of the most backward area of the state and directed concerned officers to complete the projects on war footing basis. Deputy Commissioner also visited village Bhatan is being developed under SAGY Scheme, wherein he settled a long pending dispute of construction of Government Middle school Bhatan. During his visit to various far flung villages of Tehsil Nagseni, Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the general public of the area and also attended various representations of people. Local residents of various villages of Tehsil Nagseni discussed several problems regarding scarcity of water, compensation of acquired land for various roads, installment of telecom tower, issuance of Ration cards, blacktopping of various roads etc with him. He gave the patient hearing to them and on spot directed the concerned officers for early redressal of public grievances and problems faced by public. CEO KDA and BDO Nagseni on the directions of Deputy Commissioner aware the general public about the benefits of various centrally and state sponsored schemes. Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to organise regular camps to aware the people about various schemes. Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner checked the functioning of various offices and also visited the Niagarh water scheme head site which is the main source of water supply to Kishtwar town and its adjoining areas.
