Jammu, Dec 4: Police have apprehended three persons and recovered two stolen bikes from their possession.
Police sources said after developing a specific information, police today took into custody alleged bike lifter Lakhwinder Kumar alias Sunny, son of Prem Chand of Kalyanaand recovered two stolen bikes on the basis of disclosure made by him.
One stolen bike was recovered from Sahil Sharma, son of Joginder Pal of Badyal Qazian, R S Pura, and other from Karan Singh, son of Joginder Singh of Kalyana, R S Pura, sources said.
All the three persons had been arrested by Arnia police and booked under section 379 of RPC. The accused were arrested by the newly constituted Anti-Vehicle Theft and Recovery Team (AVTAR), sources informed. |
