| JKLADCSA supports proposed Pen Down strike | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association extended its support to the pen down strike on December 8, 9 and Secretariat Gherao on Dec 10 by employees.
Addressing a meeting, Babu Hussain Malik State President and General Secretary Bharat Bushan said that complete all clerical employees will observe two days pen down strike on December 8, 9 and on Dec 10 all employees will assemble at Press Club and from there they will proceed to Civil Secretariat for Gherao. Criticizing the Government, Babu Hussain Malik, said that the government has failed to implement the orders of the High Court vide SWP No. 3058/2015, M.P. No. 01/2015 in letter and Spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest.
The High Court has given two months time to the government to remove the anomalies of the clerical cadre but even after the lapse of two months time period nothing has been said or done in this case. The Association has now lodged a contempt petition No. 25/16 to implement the orders of the High Court in this behalf
