Cong challenges BJP silence over its ministers' involvement exchanging of crores of old currency notes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 4: Manohar Lal Sharma, senior Congress leader has strongly slammed the BJP government over its complete silence regarding the exchange of old currency notes by its ministers as reported by the section of news papers and also agitated by the all political parties and other organizations in Jammu. Sharma said that there is great anger among the people of the state against the ministers who are involved in the exchange of old currency notes in their official vehicles intercepted by the Police authorities as well as Income tax department but the government seems to be under pressure and trying to hush up the case even after lot of hue and cry by all sections of the society. He sought explanation from BJP lead government that why they are shielding the Ministers who involved in Black Money and trying to exchange it with new currency notes. Sharma demands either to come openly with the names of the tainted ministers who are involved in black money exchange or accept that it is a party with no ethics and having different yardsticks for their own people versus others while fighting against Black money. He further said that the people are watching the misdeeds of BJP and its ministers who are involved in all type of scams and illegal activities but there is no authority In BJP who could dare to check their illegal activities, hence they feels free to carry on their deeds and jobs.Sharma said that it has been noticed that BJP does nothing to check and curb the menace of Black money and corruption except to allege and accuse Congress party and its leaders including other |
