Jammu, Dec 9 : In a petition filed by J&K High Court, seeking quashment of the October 21, 2016 Central Information Commission order to the extent that Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005 (central Act) is applicable to it and that the respondent has jurisdiction to exercise powers on it under the Act, a high court division bench of Justice Alok Ardhe and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur has issued notice to the respondent. The bench directed that subject to objections from other side, the operation and effect of the impugned order would remain stayed till next date of hearing. (JNF) |
