JKReTTF condemns 'Screening Test', highlights demands | | | Early Times Report kishtwar, Dec 9: Jammu Kashmir Rehber-e Taleem Teacher Front (JKReTTF) held its emergent meeting at Govt Higher Secondary School Boys Kishtwar under the leadership of Distt president Mohd Hafeez to discuss various issues pertaining to the ReTs. Speaking in the meeting, Distt President JKReTTF, Mohd.Hafiz said that the Govt has been harassing the ReTs in the name of Screening Test. "If a RET Teacher possess a degree from recognized University then what it is the need of screening test and if anyone have fake degree then dismiss them, he said, adding, "why to harass others." Highlighting problems being faced by the ReTs, he said there are 22 ReTs who are falling in Surplus category they are performing their duties very well but are without salary from past 20 months. Mohd.Shabir General Secretary JKReTTF said that forum has raised the issue at every plate form but no one at the helms of affairs pays heed toward their issues. Speakers also highlighted the issues of SSA teachers, regularization of ReTs and transfer policy. Urging cadre to remain united, speakers appealed to the cadre to join state wide protest at Press Club Jammu on December 13.
