Two held with 01 kgs of 'Charas' 12/9/2016 11:27:59 PM Early Times Report jammu, Dec 9: In continuation to the Operation Sanjeevani, a special drive against drugs launched by SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta, (IPS), Nagrota Police today arrested two narcotics smugglers alongwith huge consignment of contraband weighing upto 01 kgs of Charas (cannabis) during a naka checking under the jurisdiction of Nagrota police. According to police spokesperson, police team while on nakka checking at TCP Nagrota intercepted one Swift Car with two occupants in the car (including driver of the vehicle). "Police team subjected the vehicle on thorough search after noticing suspicious movements of occupants of car and during search of car Police Party recovered 01 Kgs Charas from their possession, police said. In this regard, Police have registered a case at P/S Nagrota under relevant section of law and further investigations of the case are on.
