Akhnoor, Dec 17: A camp for issuing Permanent Resident Certificates in favour of residents of Tehsils Akhnoor, Jourian and Maira Mandrian of Akhnoor Sub Division was organised by Sub Divisional Magistrate Akhnoor, Sunaina Sharma (KAS), in which 60 number of Permanent Resident Certificate files were cleared whereby, 210 PRCs were issued and proper guidance about the documents required for permanent resident certificate was given viz Application on the prescribed format, Affidavit in support of the application, Attested copy of ration card, Date of birth certificate, certified/attested copy of current voter list and copy of voter list of 1951/1957 (if required), Copy of PRC's of any family member and current revenue record viz Jamabandhi, Khasra Girdawari, Shajra Nasab, Misal Haqiyat/ Jamabandhi prior to 1942AD etc.
Further, she listened to the grievances of common people and solved most of their grievances on the spot. She asserted that time and again, revenue officials have been issued strict instructions, not to demand any type of bribe in lieu of forwarding the PRCs files to the next higher offices.
She appealed the public, not to offer any type of bribe to any official for recording of statements in their files and other revenue related documents. She assured that the public services in respect of all the Tehsils shall be delivered as per Public Service Guarantee Act, 2011 and such type of public grievances redressal camps shall be organised in the future as well.
Kewal Krishan Sharma, tehsildar Akhnoor and all the Naib Tehsildars of Sub Division Akhnoor were also present in the camp. |
