Jammu, Dec 17: MV International School celebrated its 12th Annual Day "Zest" with great zeal and enthusiasm at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Government of India was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu, Prof Ashok Aima, was present as the Guest of Honour. Ex commissioner JMC, Kiran Wattal was the Special guest on the occasion and Piyush Bhagat Dance Plus fame was the Special Guest. Chairman, MVIS, Hira Lal Abrol, Vice Chairperson Savita Abrol, Directors Gourav Abrol and Aakriti Abrol along with eminent citizens and Parents graced the occasion. The Director, MVIS presented the welcome address.
The program commenced with the Lighting of Ceremonial Lamp and invocation to the almighty. Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, MVIS in his address thanked Chief Guest, Guests of Honor and the special invitees along with the parents of the students of the school for their presence on the occasion. Further he stressed on the need of quality education and motivated everyone to practice healthy life style.
The Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the merit performers of academics and sports.
He in his address complimented the school for putting up a spectacular show. The program ended with the National Anthem and lunch. |
