Jammu, Dec 17: All Jammu Hotels & Lodges Association today elected new team of office bearers for the term 2017-19 headed by Pawan Kumar Gupta as president.
The team was announced by ML Sharma, the election commissioner appointed by AJHLA for the election purpose during election proceedings. While addressing the members, the outgoing president Inderjeet Khajuria gave a resume of the problems and suggested certain measures including amendment in the constitution. Khajuria thanked the office bearers and members for their support and cooperation to run the association. Newly elected president, Pawan Kumar Gupta thanked the members for their unanimously electing him president.
He nominated the Inderjeet Khajuria as chairman of the association and thanked ML Sharma for exercising transparency in the conduct of election in his capacity as election commissioner. Other members elected were Anil Khajuria as senior vice-president, Pritam Sharma as vice president, HS Manhas as general secretary, Baldev Raj as joint secretary, Swaran Singh as publicity secretary and Suni Suri as treasure. Prominent persons present included Rakesh Gupta, president CCI, Jammu, Ashu Gupta Treasure CCI, Jammu, Rajesh Gupta president Jammu Paryatn Vikas Mandal, Rajiv Gupta, JPVM Kuldeep Wahi, president Bar & Restaurant Association, RC Sharma, president, All J&K Passenger Welfare Association KL Gupta, Ashok Gupta and Gurdarshan Singh. |
